Ingredients
-
1½ oz vanilla vodka
-
1 oz coconut rum
-
1 oz coconut juice (or coconut water for a lighter option)
-
½ cup ice
Optional Garnish:
-
Maraschino cherries
-
Lemon slice
-
Shaved or toasted coconut
Instructions
-
If desired, moisten the rim of a chilled martini glass with lemon juice and dip it into shredded coconut or sugar.
-
Add vanilla vodka, coconut rum, and coconut juice to a cocktail shaker.
-
Add ice, seal the shaker, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until icy cold.
-
Strain into the prepared martini glass.
-
Garnish with a skewer of maraschino cherries and a lemon slice. Top with coconut flakes if you’re feeling fancy.
Notes
-
No vanilla vodka? Use regular vodka and ¼ tsp vanilla extract.
-
Coconut water works great for a lighter, less sweet version.
-
Add a splash of coconut cream for a richer, dessert-style martini.
-
Batch tip: Mix vodka, rum, and juice ahead for parties, then shake with ice per serving.
-
This cocktail pairs beautifully with tropical bites like coconut shrimp or grilled pineapple.
