Cotton Candy Swirl Cocktail

Cotton Candy Swirl Cocktail Recipe

  • Author: Ethan

Description

This Cotton Candy Swirl Cocktail is a dreamy, layered drink with strawberry, vanilla, and coconut flavors topped with fizzy cotton candy soda. Perfect for parties, brunches, or dessert-style drinks, it’s as fun to make as it is to sip. A sweet, creamy showstopper that’s guaranteed to impress—sparkle, swirl, and serve!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 oz strawberry liqueur (Bols or Baileys Strawberries & Cream recommended)

  • ½ oz whipped cream vodka

  • ½ oz cream of coconut (such as Coco Lopez or Goya)

  • 4 oz cotton candy Sprite (or Sprite + 1 drop cotton candy syrup)

  • Crushed or blended ice

  • Pink cotton candy, for garnish

  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish

  • Optional: whipped cream, for topping

Instructions

  • Blend the Base
In a blender, combine vanilla vodka, strawberry liqueur, and a handful of crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour halfway into a tall, chilled glass and optionally freeze for 5 minutes to help set the layer.

  • Shake the Creamy Swirl
In a cocktail shaker, combine whipped cream vodka, cream of coconut, and a splash of cold water or ice. Shake until frothy. Slowly pour over the pink base using the back of a spoon to create a swirl.

  • Add the Sparkle
Gently pour in the cotton candy Sprite, tilting the glass and pouring slowly to preserve the layers and fizz.

  • Garnish and Serve
Top with a tuft of pink cotton candy and a fresh strawberry. Add a swirl of whipped cream if desired. Serve immediately before the cotton candy melts.

Notes

  • For more defined layers, chill or briefly freeze each layer before adding the next.

  • No cotton candy Sprite? Use regular Sprite and add a drop of cotton candy syrup (available online).

  • Make it a mocktail by replacing alcohol with strawberry syrup, coconut milk, and vanilla soda.

  • To batch for parties, prep the pink base and creamy swirl separately, and assemble each glass fresh.

  • Always garnish right before serving to keep the cotton candy from dissolving too early.
