Drunken Papa Smurf Cocktail RecipeA Smurf-blue, peachy party drink that’s anything but boring

  • Author: Ethan

Description

A bold, fruity, and layered party drink, the Drunken Papa Smurf Cocktail is bursting with vibrant color and playful flavor. With sweet peach schnapps, tart cranberry juice, bright blue curaçao, and a fizzy Sprite finish—plus a candy garnish—this cocktail is the ultimate conversation starter. Perfect for parties, birthdays, or just a colorful Friday night. It’s sweet, sassy, and anything but boring!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz tequila

  • 1 oz blue curaçao

  • 1 oz peach schnapps

  • 1 oz sloe gin

  • 2 oz cranberry juice

  • 2 oz Sprite (or enough to top)

  • Ice

  • Blue gummy Smurfs or other blue candy gummies (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.

  2. Pour in cranberry juice and sloe gin. Stir gently to mix the red base.

  3. Slowly pour in peach schnapps over the back of a spoon to create a separate layer.

  4. Layer the tequila next using the same spoon technique.

  5. Gently add the blue curaçao, allowing it to float near the top.

  6. Top with Sprite for a fizzy finish.

  7. Drop in blue gummy Smurfs or other candy for a playful garnish.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy the colorful magic!

Notes

  • For cleaner layers, chill all ingredients and pour slowly over the back of a spoon.

  • No sloe gin? Substitute raspberry liqueur or grenadine for a similar red base.

  • Want it less sweet? Use soda water instead of Sprite.

  • This cocktail is best served fresh. Avoid pre-mixing with soda or garnish if prepping ahead.

  • To make it non-alcoholic, swap spirits for colorful fruit juices and syrups.
