Fizzy Lemon Drop Punch

Fizzy Lemon Drop Punch: A Bright and Bubbly Party Classic

  • Author: Sam

Description

Fizzy Lemon Drop Punch is a citrusy, sparkling pitcher cocktail made with vodka, limoncello, and lemon-lime soda. It’s light, zesty, and perfect for parties, brunches, and backyard gatherings. Serve it in sugar-rimmed glasses with lemon slices for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing drink that looks as good as it tastes!

Ingredients

Scale

Serves: 6–8

For the Punch:

  • 1 cup vodka (plain or citrus)

  • ½ cup limoncello (Italian lemon liqueur)

  • 1½ cups sweet & sour mix

  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons

  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda or sparkling lemonade (chilled)

  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons lemon zest or a dash of simple syrup for extra sweetness

  • Ice (for serving)

For Garnish:

  • Lemon slices or wheels

  • Granulated sugar (for rimming glasses)

  • Fresh mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glasses (Optional):
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims in granulated sugar. Set aside.

  2. Mix the Base:
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, stir together vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and sweet & sour mix. Chill for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

  3. Add the Fizz:
Just before serving, gently stir in the lemon-lime soda or sparkling lemonade. Add plenty of ice and stir softly to preserve the bubbles.

  4. Serve:
Pour over ice into prepared glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired. Cheers!

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, skip the vodka and limoncello, and replace with lemon Italian soda and lemonade concentrate.

  • Want it sweeter? Stir in a little simple syrup to taste.

  • Chill all ingredients before mixing to keep the punch cool without watering it down too quickly.

  • Try infusing with herbs like basil or thyme for a fresh, herbal twist.

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but the carbonation will fade—add fresh soda before serving again.
