Frozen Baileys Colada

Frozen Baileys Colada Recipe: A Creamy, Tropical Dream in a Glass

  • Author: Sam

Description

Frozen Baileys Colada is a rich and tropical frozen cocktail that blends smooth Baileys Irish Cream, white rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice into one dreamy, slushy drink. It’s a creamy twist on the classic piña colada, made in just minutes—perfect for summer parties, weekend brunch, or whenever you need a mini getaway in a glass. A total showstopper that’s as easy as blend, pour, and sip. Try it and bring the beach vibes home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz white rum

  • 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream

  • 1 oz pineapple juice (fresh or canned)

  • 1 oz coconut cream (such as Coco López or cream of coconut)

  • 1 cup crushed ice

Optional Garnish:

  • Pineapple wedge

  • Maraschino cherry

Instructions

  • In a high-speed blender, combine white rum, Baileys Irish Cream, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and crushed ice.

  • Blend until smooth and creamy. The texture should be thick and slushy.

  • Pour the mixture into a chilled hurricane glass or your favorite stemmed glass.

  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry, if desired.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy every frosty, tropical sip!

Notes

  • Crushed ice works best for achieving that smooth, slushy texture—avoid whole cubes if you can.

  • Want it even more tropical? Swap the white rum for coconut rum.

  • Add a swirl of grenadine before blending to give your drink a beautiful pink island hue.

  • For extra pineapple flavor and body, try frozen pineapple chunks in place of juice (reduce ice slightly).

  • To make a batch ahead, combine all ingredients (minus ice), refrigerate, and blend with ice just before serving.

  • This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for entertaining—just blend in batches if needed.
