Frozen Yogurt-Dipped Blueberries

Frozen Yogurt-Dipped Blueberries Recipe: A Guilt-Free, Bite-Sized Treat You’ll Crave!

  • Author: Sam

Description

Frozen Yogurt-Dipped Blueberries are the perfect make-ahead snack—cool, creamy, naturally sweet, and loaded with antioxidants. With just a few ingredients and a quick freeze, these bite-sized treats are ideal for healthy snacking, topping smoothie bowls, or serving as a kid-approved dessert. I always keep a batch in the freezer… they never last long!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups fresh blueberries, rinsed and completely dried

  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or any flavor you love)

  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

  • Toothpicks or skewer sticks (for dipping)

  • Parchment paper or silicone mat

  • Baking sheet or tray (freezer-safe)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup (if using) until smooth and creamy.

  2. Using a toothpick or skewer, dip each blueberry into the yogurt to fully coat. Let any excess drip off.

  3. Place the coated blueberries onto a parchment- or silicone-lined baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

  4. Repeat until all the blueberries are coated.

  5. Freeze the tray for 1–2 hours, or until the yogurt shell is fully set and the blueberries are firm.

  6. Once frozen, transfer the berries to an airtight container or freezer bag for storage.

Notes

  • Be sure the blueberries are completely dry—any moisture will keep the yogurt from sticking.

  • Greek yogurt works best due to its thick consistency. For dairy-free versions, use coconut or almond yogurt.

  • Add variety by using different yogurt flavors or rolling the dipped berries in crushed nuts, granola, or coconut before freezing.

  • Best enjoyed straight from the freezer or after sitting at room temperature for 1–2 minutes.

  • Stores well for up to 2 months in an airtight container.
