Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 oz Tequila (blanco or reposado)
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1/2 oz Midori (melon liqueur)
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice (fresh, if possible)
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
- Ice
- Pineapple slice or lime wheel (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Fill a rocks glass with ice to chill. For a flavored rim, rub a lime wedge along the rim and dip it into sugar or salt.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, Midori, pineapple juice, and lime juice. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
- Serve: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish: Add a pineapple slice, lime wheel, or even a cocktail umbrella for a festive touch.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, add a splash of simple syrup or agave nectar to the shaker.
- Experiment with different tequilas to find your preferred flavor profile. Blanco is light and crisp, while reposado adds depth.
- For a fun twist, blend all the ingredients with ice for a frozen version.
- Store any leftover mixture (without ice) in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
