Pink Layer:

  • 10 pieces bubble gum (infused in ½ pint white rum, overnight)

  • 0.5 oz strawberry liqueur

  • 0.5 oz piña colada drink

  • 0.5 oz overproof rum (optional, for added strength)

White Layer:

  • 0.5 oz coconut cream or white chocolate liqueur

  • Splash of milk or piña colada mix (to lighten and help layering)

Blue Layer:

  • 0.5 oz blue curaçao syrup (or blue curaçao liqueur for a boozy option)

  • 0.5 oz piña colada drink

Optional Garnish:

  • Pink or blue sanding sugar (for rimming the glass)

  • Simple syrup or lemon juice (to help sugar stick to the rim)


Instructions

  • Infuse the Rum:
    Place 10 bubble gum pieces into ½ pint of white rum. Let it sit in a sealed jar overnight, then strain out the gum.

  • Prepare the Glass (Optional):
    Dip the rim of a clear shot glass into lemon juice or simple syrup, then into colored sugar for extra flair.

  • Layer the Blue Base:
    Pour 0.5 oz blue curaçao syrup and 0.5 oz piña colada drink into the shot glass as the bottom layer.

  • Add the White Layer:
    Gently pour 0.5 oz coconut cream (or white chocolate liqueur) over the back of a spoon to layer it over the blue. Add a splash of milk if needed for proper layering.

  • Top with the Pink Layer:
    Combine 0.5 oz bubble gum rum, 0.5 oz strawberry liqueur, 0.5 oz piña colada drink, and optional 0.5 oz overproof rum. Slowly layer it on top using the spoon or a syringe.
