Ingredients
For the Mango Layer:
2 oz tequila
1 oz triple sec
½ cup frozen mango chunks
Juice of ½ lime
½ cup ice
For the Berry Layer:
½ cup frozen strawberries or raspberries
1 oz tequila
Splash of simple syrup or agave (optional, depending on sweetness of berries)
½ cup ice
Garnishes:
Lime slices
Maraschino cherries
Sugar or salt for rimming glasses
Instructions
Rim Your Glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip into sugar or salt (your call!) and set aside in the freezer to chill while you prep.
Make the Mango Layer: In a blender, combine 2 oz tequila, 1 oz triple sec, ½ cup frozen mango, juice of ½ lime, and ½ cup ice. Blend until smooth and slushy. Divide between two glasses, filling them halfway.
Make the Berry Layer: Rinse the blender and add ½ cup frozen berries, 1 oz tequila, a splash of syrup or agave if using, and ½ cup ice. Blend until thick and smooth.
Layer & Serve: Gently spoon or pour the berry layer on top of the mango layer for that gorgeous two-tone look. Garnish with a lime slice and cherry, pop in a straw, and serve immediately!
Notes
Want to keep it sweet but skip the syrup? Let your fruit do the talking — especially if it’s ripe and juicy!
Use a spoon to layer the berry slush gently to avoid blending the colors.
Love a spicy twist? Add a slice of jalapeño to the mango blend for a sweet-heat surprise.
No triple sec? Swap with orange juice or another citrusy liqueur.
Serving a crowd? Double or triple the recipe and blend in batches!
