Ingredients
½ cup white rum
¼ cup fresh key lime juice (or regular lime juice)
2 tablespoons sugar
8–10 fresh mint leaves
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
½ cup club soda
Ice (as needed)
Whipped cream (for topping)
Crushed graham crackers (for garnish)
Lime slices and mint sprigs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Rim the Glasses: Dip the rim of each glass in lime juice, then into crushed graham crackers to coat. Add a few lime slices and fresh mint leaves to each glass.
Muddle the Base: In a shaker or small pitcher, muddle the mint leaves and sugar with the lime juice until the mint is fragrant and the sugar dissolves.
Add Liquids and Ice: Pour in the white rum and sweetened condensed milk. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until chilled and creamy.
Assemble the Drink: Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice. Top with a splash of club soda.
Garnish and Serve: Add a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers. Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs, if desired. Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon!
Notes
No key limes? Regular limes work beautifully.
For a dairy-free twist, use coconut sweetened condensed milk.
Want it frozen? Blend everything (except soda and garnishes) with ice for a slushie-style mojito.
Prep ahead by mixing everything except club soda and garnishes. Keep chilled and fizz it up when ready to serve.
Make it a mocktail by skipping the rum and adding extra soda or coconut water.
