Malibu Princess Cocktail: A Sweet and Tropical Delight You’ll Want to Sip All Summer

  • Author: Sam

Description

This Malibu Princess Cocktail is a bright, sweet, and totally photo-worthy tropical drink made with melon liqueur, coconut rum, and pineapple juice. Topped like a milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry, it’s perfect for summer parties, girls’ night, or anytime you’re feeling a little extra. Simple to make, crazy fun to serve—this one’s a guaranteed crowd favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz Midori (melon liqueur)

  • 1 oz Malibu (coconut rum)

  • 2 oz pineapple juice or Sprite (for a fizzy version)

  • Whipped cream (for topping)

  • Pink sugar or sprinkles (for rimming the glass)

  • 1 maraschino cherry (for garnish)

  • Ice (cubed or crushed)

Instructions

  • Lightly moisten the rim of a tall glass with water or juice, then dip into pink sugar or sprinkles to coat.

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in Midori, Malibu, and pineapple juice or Sprite.

  • Shake gently (especially if using soda) just until chilled.

  • Fill your prepared glass with ice and strain the cocktail over it.

  • Top with a big swirl of whipped cream.

  • Garnish with a maraschino cherry and add a fun straw or umbrella for a festive touch.

Notes

  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with 1 cup of crushed ice until smooth.

  • Want to make it a mocktail? Swap Midori for melon syrup and Malibu for coconut water.

  • Pineapple juice makes it smooth and tropical, while Sprite adds a bubbly kick—choose your favorite!

  • Hosting a party? Mix a big batch of the base ingredients ahead of time and let guests garnish their own glasses.

  • This cocktail is on the sweeter side—feel free to adjust with extra juice or a splash of soda water to tone it down if needed.
