It’s super easy to make and perfect for impressing guests or sipping solo on a sunny afternoon. Anything but boring!!
Ingredients
1 oz white rum (like Bacardi)
1 oz green apple vodka
½ oz triple sec
½ oz fresh lemon juice
2 oz apple juice (for topping)
½ oz blue curaçao
Crushed ice
Lemon wheel or green apple slices (for garnish)
Optional: blue sugar or salt for rimming the glass
Instructions
Place your highball or hurricane glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to get them nice and frosty.
In a cocktail shaker, combine white rum, green apple vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and a small scoop of crushed ice. Shake well until chilled.
Fill each chilled glass halfway with crushed ice.
Slowly pour in the shaken mixture.
Carefully top each glass with 1 oz apple juice, pouring it gently over the back of a spoon to maintain layers.
Slowly drizzle ¼ oz blue curaçao over the top of each glass to create a vibrant gradient effect.
Garnish with a lemon wheel, green apple slice, or mint sprig. Optional: rim the glass with blue sugar or salt for extra flair.
Serve immediately and enjoy the tropical vibes!
Notes
Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor—trust me, it makes a difference.
Want it a little sweeter? Add a splash of simple syrup to the shaker before mixing.
No green apple vodka? Use plain vodka and add a bit more apple juice or a few drops of apple extract.
Hosting a party? Mix the base (rum, vodka, triple sec, and lemon juice) in advance and keep it chilled. Layer with apple juice and curaçao when serving.
For a non-alcoholic version, sub in white grape juice for the spirits and a splash of blue sports drink for color.
