Orange Dreamshake Recipe: A Creamsicle Shake for Sunshine Lovers!

  • Author: Ethan

Description

This Orange Dreamshake recipe is a sunny-day treat that tastes just like a classic creamsicle—only better! Creamy vanilla ice cream blends with tangy orange sherbet and fizzy orange soda for a mocktail shake that’s fun, nostalgic, and ready in minutes. Perfect for summer sips, parties, or when you’re craving a splash of joy in a glass. Don’t skip the whipped cream and candy rim—because this drink deserves to be a little extra!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 scoops orange sherbet

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • ¾ cup orange soda

  • Whipped cream, for topping

Optional Garnishes:

  • Orange slice

  • Crushed orange candy or Pop Rocks (for rimming)

  • Orange sugar crystals or sprinkles

  • Colorful striped straw

Instructions

  • Chill a tall glass in the freezer for 10 minutes (optional, but highly recommended!).

  • In a blender, combine orange sherbet, vanilla ice cream, and orange soda.

  • Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy.

  • (Optional) Rim your glass by dipping it in syrup or water, then rolling in crushed candy or Pop Rocks.

  • Pour the blended shake into your chilled glass.

  • Top generously with whipped cream.

  • Garnish with an orange slice, sprinkles, and a fun striped straw.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy every creamy, fizzy sip!

Notes

  • Thicker Texture: Add an extra scoop of sherbet or ice cream if you like it spoonable.

  • Dairy-Free Option: Use plant-based vanilla ice cream and vegan orange sherbet.

  • Make it a Float: Skip the blender! Just layer scoops in the glass and pour soda over top.

  • Add Some Sparkle: Rim your glass with orange Pop Rocks for a fizzy surprise!

  • Make-Ahead Tip: Pre-scoop the sherbet and ice cream into a container and freeze. Blend with soda when ready.
