Peach Thunder Rush Cocktail – A Tropical Frozen Delight with a Bold Twist

  • Author: Sam

Description

The Peach Thunder Rush Cocktail is a bold, tropical frozen drink that brings serious summer energy. With vibrant layers of peach purée, coconut cream, and a deep purple grape-passion fruit slush, it’s refreshing, fruity, and visually stunning. Perfect for beach vibes, pool parties, or a weekend treat that feels like a mini vacation in a glass!

Ingredients

Scale

Peach Layer:

  • 1 cup peach purée (fresh or frozen peaches blended with a little sugar or syrup)

  • 1 oz dark rum

  • ½ cup ice

Coconut Layer:

  • ½ cup coconut cream

  • 1 oz dark rum

  • ½ cup ice

Grape-Passion Layer:

  • ½ cup purple grape slush or frozen grape juice concentrate

  • 1 oz passion fruit liqueur (like Passoã or similar)

  • Ice (as needed to achieve slushy texture)

Optional Garnishes:

  • Fresh peach slices

  • Mint sprigs

  • Swirl of coconut cream or whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Make the Peach Layer:
In a blender, combine peach purée, dark rum, and ice. Blend until slushy and smooth. Pour into a cup and set aside.

  2. Make the Coconut Layer:
Rinse the blender, then blend coconut cream, dark rum, and ice until creamy and thick. Set aside.

  3. Make the Grape-Passion Layer:
In a small blender cup, pulse grape slush or concentrate with passion fruit liqueur and enough ice to form a thick, vibrant slush.

  4. Assemble the Drink:
In a tall glass or clear dome cup, layer:

  • Grape-passion fruit slush on the bottom

  • Coconut cream layer in the middle

  • Peach slush on top

  1. Garnish & Serve:
Top with a swirl of coconut cream or whipped topping, add a fresh peach slice and mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make it a mocktail: Skip the alcohol and replace with fruit juice or sparkling water for a family-friendly version.

  • Use frozen fruit: It gives a better slush consistency without watering it down too much.

  • Customize it: Swap peach with mango, pineapple, or strawberries depending on what you have on hand.

  • Prep ahead: You can blend each layer in advance and keep them in the freezer. Re-blend briefly before assembling.

  • Serve cold: Chill your glasses in the freezer before serving to keep your drink icy for longer.
