Description
Peanut Butter Cup French Toast Rolls are a fun, quick, and delicious twist on classic French toast! Soft white bread is filled with creamy peanut butter and melty peanut butter cups, pan-fried until golden, then rolled in cinnamon sugar. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack, they’re crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside—anything but boring! Serve warm and drizzle with caramel or extra peanut butter for the ultimate treat.
Ingredients
-
8 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed
-
8 mini peanut butter cups (or chopped regular ones)
-
Peanut butter (about 1–2 tablespoons, depending on preference)
-
2 large eggs
-
2 tablespoons milk
-
2 tablespoons sugar
-
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
Butter, for frying
-
Optional: caramel sauce or melted peanut butter, for drizzling
Instructions
-
Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin until thin and pliable.
-
Spread a thin layer of peanut butter over each slice.
-
Place one mini peanut butter cup at the edge of each slice and roll tightly into a log.
-
In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
-
In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
-
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
-
Dip each roll quickly in the egg mixture, coating all sides.
-
Place seam-side down in the skillet and fry for 2–3 minutes per side, turning to cook evenly until golden and crisp.
-
Immediately roll each hot roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
-
Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel sauce or melted peanut butter, if desired.
Notes
-
Nutella, cookie butter, or chocolate spread can be used instead of peanut butter for a fun twist.
-
For a slightly healthier version, try whole wheat bread.
-
These rolls freeze beautifully! Just reheat in an air fryer or toaster oven until crisp.
-
Don’t soak the rolls too long in the egg wash—just a quick dip does the trick!

Want to add fruit? Thin banana slices pair perfectly with the peanut butter cups!
