Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz pineapple rum

  • 1 oz vanilla rum

  • 2 oz pineapple juice

  • ½ oz blue curaçao

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

  • Splash of club soda or lemon-lime soda (for sparkle)

  • Ice (for shaking and serving)

Optional Garnishes:

  • Pineapple wedge

  • Cocktail umbrella

  • Neon straw (strongly encouraged!)


Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

  • Add pineapple rum, vanilla rum, pineapple juice, blue curaçao, and lime juice.

  • Shake well for about 10 seconds, until chilled.

  • Fill a tall glass or hurricane glass with fresh ice.

  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.

  • Top with a splash of club soda or lemon-lime soda for a fizzy finish.

 

  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge, umbrella, or your most over-the-top tropical décor.

Notes

  • No pineapple rum? Sub in coconut rum or white rum with a splash of pineapple extract.

  • Vanilla rum can be replaced with spiced rum or white rum + a drop of vanilla extract.

  • For a slushie-style version, blend all ingredients with ice instead of shaking.

  • Prep a batch (minus the soda) in advance and store it in the fridge. Shake and top with soda when ready to serve.
