Rainbow Cloud Sugar Pizza Recipe – A Whimsical, Kid-Friendly Dessert Pizza Delight

  • Author: Sam

Description

This Rainbow Cloud Sugar Pizza is a joyful, colorful dessert that brings smiles with every slice! A buttery cinnamon-sugar crust is topped with a fluffy vanilla cream cheese “cloud,” then covered in pastel rainbow marshmallows. It’s the perfect centerpiece for birthdays, brunches, Pride celebrations, or any day that needs a little magic. Kid-friendly, no-fuss, and totally unforgettable!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or 1 ball of homemade sweet dough)

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

For the Cloud Topping:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 cups mini pastel rainbow marshmallows

Optional Garnish:

  • Extra powdered sugar for dusting

  • Edible glitter (for sparkle!)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

  • Roll out your pizza dough onto the pan and shape into a circle or rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with granulated sugar and cinnamon (if using).

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and slightly crisp. Let the crust cool completely.

  • Make the cloud topping: In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.

  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light, fluffy, and cloud-like.

  • Spread the cloud topping evenly over the cooled crust using an offset spatula or back of a spoon.

  • Top with rainbow marshmallows. Arrange by color for a rainbow gradient or scatter randomly for a playful look.

  • Optional: Dust lightly with powdered sugar or edible glitter.

  • Chill for 30–60 minutes to help the topping set before slicing into squares or wedges. Serve and enjoy the magic!

Notes

  • Let the crust cool fully before adding the topping to prevent melting.

  • For a fruitier version, layer thin slices of strawberry, kiwi, or mandarin oranges under the marshmallows.

  • You can swap the pizza crust for sugar cookie dough or a graham cracker base for an extra dessert-like twist.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container—if there are any leftovers!

  • Want more color? Try food-dyed marshmallows or add rainbow sprinkles to the top. The more magic, the better!
