Ingredients
6 oz hard root beer, chilled (such as Not Your Father’s)
3 oz salted caramel vodka or vanilla vodka, chilled
Whipped cream, for topping
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Optional: caramel drizzle or pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions
Chill the shot glasses
Place your shot glasses in the freezer for 15–20 minutes to get that frosty, soda-shop feel.Mix the boozy base
In a small pitcher or cocktail shaker, gently stir together the chilled hard root beer and vodka. Go easy—keep the fizz!Pour into glasses
Divide the mixture evenly between 4–6 shot glasses, filling each about ¾ full to leave room for toppings.Top with whipped cream
Add a swirl of whipped cream to each shot using a piping bag or a can of whipped topping.Garnish and serve
