Ingredients

Scale

Bottom Layer – Blackberry Lemonade Kick

  • 1 box (3 oz) lemon Jell-O

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • ¼ cup cold blackberry lemonade

  • ¾ cup citrus or berry-flavored vodka

Middle Layer – Polar Blast Pop

  • 1 box (3 oz) blue raspberry Jell-O

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 tablespoon sour blue drink mix (e.g., Polar Blast powder)

  • ¾ cup white rum

  • ¼ cup cold water

Top Layer – Neon Glow Lime

  • 1 box (3 oz) lime Jell-O

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup cold water (or use ½ cup sour apple schnapps + ½ cup cold water for extra zing)

Optional Tools:

  • 1820 plastic 2 oz shot cups

  • Mixing bowls

  • Whisks or spoons

  • Measuring cups

  • Baking tray (for easy transport)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Cups
Line 18–20 plastic shot cups on a tray or baking sheet. No greasing required — just have them ready to go.

  2. Make the Bottom Layer – Blackberry Lemonade Kick
In a bowl, whisk lemon Jell-O into 1 cup boiling water until dissolved.
Add blackberry lemonade and vodka. Stir well.
Pour into cups, filling about ⅓ of the way.
Refrigerate 60–90 minutes until firm but slightly tacky.

  3. Make the Middle Layer – Polar Blast Pop
In a new bowl, mix blue raspberry Jell-O and sour drink powder into 1 cup boiling water.
Stir in white rum and ¼ cup cold water.
Gently spoon the blue layer over the set yellow layer.
Chill another 60–90 minutes until firm.

  4. Make the Top Layer – Neon Glow Lime
In another bowl, dissolve lime Jell-O in boiling water.
Stir in cold water or sour apple schnapps mix.
Carefully pour over the blue layer.
Refrigerate 2–3 hours, or overnight, until fully set.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Perfect for prepping the night before — they stay party-ready for up to 5 days in the fridge.

  • Want it Stronger? You can use up to 1 cup alcohol per layer. Just expect longer chill times and a slightly softer set.

  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Simply swap all alcohol with matching juices or sodas — still delicious and fun!

  • Glow Factor: For a glowing effect under blacklight, sub in tonic water for part of the liquid in the top layer.

  • Layering Tip: Let each layer set until tacky (not fully firm) before adding the next. This helps layers stick without bleeding.
