Instructions
Blend the Yellow Layer
In a high-speed blender, combine piña colada mix, mango chunks, mango rum, and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Transfer to a bowl and place in the freezer while you prep the next layer.Blend the Red Layer
Rinse out the blender. Add strawberry daiquiri mix, fresh strawberries, strawberry liqueur, and ice. Blend until smooth.Layer the Cocktail
Using hurricane or tall glasses, alternate scoops of the yellow and red mixtures. For a striped look, gently press each layer with the back of a spoon. For a swirled effect, lightly mix the edges.
Garnish and Serve
Top with fresh mango slices or strawberries. Optionally rim glasses with sugar before filling. Serve immediately with wide straws or spoons for maximum frozen sippability!
Notes
Make Ahead Tip: You can blend and freeze both layers up to 1 day in advance. Let them thaw slightly before scooping and serving.
Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace the rum and liqueur with mango juice and strawberry lemonade for a booze-free tropical treat.
Texture Tip: Use frozen fruit for a thicker, more slushy consistency without watering it down.
Presentation Tip: For cleaner layers, chill your first blend in the freezer while making the second. Use a spoon to gently layer.
Serving Size: Makes 2–4 servings, depending on glass size and your pour style. Perfect for sharing—or not!
