Unicorn Thirst Trap Cocktail

Unicorn Thirst Trap Cocktail – A Layered Fantasy in Every Sip

  • Author: Sam

Description

The Unicorn Thirst Trap Cocktail is a layered frozen cocktail bursting with bold color, creamy texture, and a magical swirl of flavor. With pear vodka, Tequila Rose, coconut cream, and white chocolate liqueur, it’s a fantasy drink that looks as dazzling as it tastes. Whether you’re throwing a themed party or just craving something whimsical and boozy, this cocktail is a guaranteed showstopper!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cocktail Base:

  • 1 oz pear vodka

  • 1 oz Tequila Rose

  • ½ oz white chocolate liqueur (Mozart or Godiva recommended)

  • 1 oz coconut cream

  • ½ oz blue curaçao

  • Splash of black raspberry liqueur or activated charcoal syrup (optional, for dramatic contrast)

  • 2 cups crushed ice

For Garnish:

  • Rainbow cotton candy or unicorn-themed marshmallows

  • Edible glitter

  • Rainbow sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base:
In a high-speed blender, combine crushed ice, pear vodka, Tequila Rose, white chocolate liqueur, and coconut cream. Blend until smooth and slushy.

  2. Divide and Color:
Pour the blended base into 3–4 small bowls. Add different gel food coloring to each (e.g., pink, blue, purple), stirring gently to create vibrant shades.

  3. Layer with Care:
In a tall clear glass, add spoonfuls of each color, layering them gently to create a marbled rainbow effect. Drizzle a splash of blue curaçao and black raspberry liqueur or charcoal syrup down the inside of the glass for contrast.

  4. Add the Garnish:
Top with a puff of cotton candy or a swirl of whipped cream. Add a dusting of edible glitter and a pinch of rainbow sprinkles to finish.

  5. Serve Immediately:
Snap a photo, raise your glass, and sip your way into a unicorn daydream!

Notes

  • Crushed ice is key for that perfect frozen consistency—don’t use cubes.

  • Gel food coloring gives strong colors without watering down the mix.

  • You can prep the base ahead and freeze each color separately—just stir or re-blend before layering.

  • Want a non-alcoholic version? Use pear nectar, strawberry syrup with cream, and coconut milk. It’s just as magical!

  • This cocktail doesn’t store well once assembled, so build your layers right before serving.
