Ingredients
-
1 bottle (12 oz) light lager or wheat beer, chilled
-
1½ oz blueberry or blackberry liqueur (like crème de mûre or crème de cassis)
-
2 oz lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
-
Ice (crushed or cubed)
Optional Garnish:
-
Lemon twist or wedge
-
Edible glitter or shimmer dust for that cosmic swirl
Instructions
-
Fill a tall cocktail glass with ice, about two-thirds full.
-
Pour in the berry liqueur first, letting it settle at the bottom to build that deep violet base.
-
Slowly add lemon-lime soda or sparkling water to create lift and fizz.
-
Gently pour the chilled beer over the back of a spoon to float it on top and form the signature vortex swirl.
-
Add a pinch of edible shimmer dust, and stir once for a magical galaxy effect.
-
Garnish with a lemon twist or wedge. Serve immediately while bubbly and cold!
Notes
-
Want it stronger? Add a splash of vodka or gin.
-
Swap in raspberry or cherry liqueur for a fun flavor variation.
-
For a non-alcoholic version, use berry syrup and non-alcoholic beer.
-
Chill all ingredients (including the glasses!) for the most stunning presentation and best flavor.
-
This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but you can pre-mix the liqueur and soda and add beer just before serving.
