Watermelon Berry Vodka Punch

Watermelon Berry Vodka Punch Recipe: Your Go-To Summer Party Cocktail

  • Author: Sam

Description

This Watermelon Berry Vodka Punch is the ultimate summer cocktail—light, fruity, and crowd-pleasing! Served right from a hollowed-out watermelon, it’s a festive and refreshing drink that’s perfect for backyard BBQs, pool parties, and warm-weather hangouts. With juicy watermelon, fresh berries, fizzy soda, and a splash of vodka, this punch is quick to make and even quicker to disappear. Try it once, and you’ll want it on repeat all season long!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small seedless watermelon (for juice + serving bowl)

  • 1½ cups vodka (plain or watermelon flavored)

  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or sparkling water

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 24 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Ice cubes (as needed)

  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the watermelon: Slice off the top of the watermelon and scoop out the flesh. Blend the flesh until smooth, then strain for a cleaner punch if desired.

  • Make the punch base: In a large bowl or directly in the hollowed-out watermelon, stir together the watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice, and sweetener (if using).

  • Add the fizz and fruit: Pour in lemon-lime soda or sparkling water, toss in mixed berries, and add ice. Stir gently to combine.

  • Garnish and serve: Top with fresh mint leaves. Ladle into glasses filled with ice and garnish with more berries and a mint sprig for extra flair!

Notes

  • Chill your watermelon, vodka, and soda beforehand for the coldest, most refreshing punch.

  • Add soda just before serving to keep the bubbles alive!

  • Use frozen berries for extra chill and less watering-down.

  • Make it a mocktail by skipping the vodka and replacing it with extra sparkling water or coconut water.

  • If your watermelon isn’t very sweet, add more honey or simple syrup to taste.

  • Stabilize the watermelon bowl by placing it in a large mixing bowl or using foil to nestle it securely.
