White Chocolate Lemon Drop

White Chocolate Lemon Drop: A Silky, Tart, and Indulgent Cocktail Delight

  • Author: Sam

Description

This White Chocolate Lemon Drop is a silky, tart, and creamy cocktail that’s perfect for dessert or a chic happy hour. Made with vodka, white chocolate liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and a citrusy kick of triple sec, it’s a dreamy drink that tastes like a lemon tart in a martini glass. Quick to shake up and absolutely beautiful to serve—this is your new favorite grown-up treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz vodka (plain or citrus-infused)

  • 1 oz white chocolate liqueur (Mozart White, Godiva, or similar)

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • ½ oz triple sec or Cointreau

  • Ice cubes (enough to fill your shaker)

Optional Garnishes:

  • Granulated sugar or lemon zest (for rimming the glass)

  • Lemon twist, lemon wheel, or white chocolate shavings

Instructions

  • Prep your glass (optional but fancy!):
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a martini glass. Dip it into granulated sugar (or sugar mixed with lemon zest) and set aside.

  • Shake it up:
In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, white chocolate liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and triple sec. Add a generous scoop of ice.

  • Shake like you mean it:
Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is icy cold.

  • Strain and serve:
Strain into your prepared martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or white chocolate shavings for that extra wow factor.

  • Sip and enjoy:
Serve immediately and savor each creamy, citrusy sip!

Notes

  • Want it sweeter? Add an extra splash of simple syrup before shaking.

  • For an even richer flavor, try vanilla or whipped cream vodka.

  • A splash of half-and-half or coconut cream can turn this into a creamy dessert cocktail.

  • Always use fresh lemon juice—it really makes all the difference.

  • Make it in batches by multiplying the ingredients and storing the mix (without ice) in the fridge until ready to serve.

  • Chill your martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes for a frosty finish.
