Zaddy Daddy Cocktail: A Bold, Peachy Drink That Brings the Vibes

  • Author: Sam

Description

The Zaddy Daddy Cocktail is bold, peachy, and full of personality—perfect for sipping on a summer night or impressing your friends at your next get-together. Made with bourbon (or dark rum), peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and fresh lime, it’s sweet, tart, and totally smooth. Shake it up in just 5 minutes and serve over ice for a drink that’s anything but boring. Try it once and it might just become your signature cocktail!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 oz bourbon or dark rum

  • 1 oz peach schnapps

  • 2 oz cranberry juice (sweetened or unsweetened)

  • Juice of ½ lime

  • Dash of bitters (Angostura or orange bitters)

  • Ice (for shaking and serving)

  • Optional: fresh peach slice and lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

  • Pour in the bourbon or dark rum, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and a dash of bitters.

  • Shake well for about 15 seconds until chilled.

  • Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice.

  • Strain the cocktail into the glass.

  • Garnish with a peach slice and lime wheel, if desired.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy every bold, peachy sip!

Notes

  • Bourbon gives this drink a warm, classic feel, while dark rum adds a tropical depth—both are delicious, so go with your favorite.

  • For a lighter twist, add a splash of soda water or ginger beer on top.

  • Hosting a party? You can easily batch this recipe—just scale up the ingredients and chill in a pitcher (add lime juice right before serving).

  • Fresh lime juice makes all the difference. Don’t skip it!

  • Want to get fancy? Muddle a few fresh peach slices in the shaker before adding the other ingredients for extra fruitiness.
